  • Best Podcast Ever

I have been listening to Rebel Girls since I was a small child. Like I mean 5 years old. I’m now almost 14 and still adore the show. It’s such a great show for girls that empowers women. I have never really loved podcasts but after reading the books I simply fell in love with the podcast. Rebel girls is amazing. If I could give it more stars I would. Thank you Rebel Girls for changing my life. 💗

I would really like if you did an episode on Claudette Colvin. I feel like she is under represented, she was before Rosa Parks. Claudette Colvin was only 15 when she didn't give up her seat.

Q: If girls like me want to out make these changes, what advice can you give us to get started?
Start small and local: educate those around you, speak up when you hear unproblematic language, and actively change problematic boundaries and consent discussions. By changing the language your friends use, you can begin to shift the culture around you and create space for broader change.

Q: What advice would you give your younger self?
Keep a journal, draw, write, observe the natural world, and remain reflective to learn continuously.
Get To Know Neri Oxman
Q: How do you start when thinking about a new project?
A great project begins with a question rather than an answer, asking how to build with silk without harming silkworms, how to 3D print with glass, and how to harness solar energy.

Q: Zaha Hadid seemed to build impossible buildings—can you talk about a great challenge you faced in a project?
We tackled scale in a project for the MoMA with a pavilion made of silk and a robot-assisted process, while managing the living aspects of silkworms and ensuring a respectful co-design with nature.
