  • Distasteful

Saying go back in the past and kill JK as a baby was distasteful and a horrible ending for this amazing podcast.

  • Too hypocritical to be entertaining

I thought this podcast was funny, reflective and insightful for the first 102 episodes. And then I heard them trash a person who had very legitimate concerns about how hateful the hosts are.

The hosts preach acceptance and being nonjudgmental, but apparently that only applies to specific groups of people that the hosts have deemed capable of suffering. They truly seem to hate men and people with any level of privilege, despite the fact that people don’t choose to be men or choose to be born in... more

  • Fantasia whoaaaaa

Hello fine ladies, I am currently in uni and am having a hard time with mental health recently. Y’all are amazing companions to join me throughout my day and make me laugh, which I deeply need. I am from New England in the US and absolutely love your takes. I love that you hate on the US (me too) but just remember we won 😉🤘. Love you guys and I am moving on to your next podcast (equally as amazing)

  • Great unique insights!

I’m a new mom (to a boy) who is re-listening to all the Harry Potter books during all the many many middle of night feedings, and this podcast is the perfect companion. These ladies have such unique insights that it feels like it’s a whole new book! I absolutely sobbed at the break down of book 4 ch 34. Great listen!

  • This is the best podcast ever!

Finally leaving a review here because I’ve been meaning to do it for ages but I had to come over here to listen to Episode 141 since it’s missing on Spotify (and to let you know about it if no one else has). I love this podcast to bits, it’s chaotic, hilarious, feminist, (man-hating), queer, all the things I want from comedy! I’ve just finished a complete relisten and your jokes were still just as funny, if not funnier every time! I almost always drink along or grab mocktails if I’m at work or i... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep 156 - Deathly Hallows Epilogue Live: Professional Broomstick Rider
Q: What is the one thing you guys learned the most from these eight years?
We learned how to podcast and what works and doesn't work, and it would have been good to keep better records of our episodes.
Ep 156 - Deathly Hallows Epilogue Live: Professional Broomstick Rider
Q: Do you think one of the trio should have died?
It's a complicated question, as the books were primarily aimed at children, but thematically, it could have made sense for one of them to die.
Ep 156 - Deathly Hallows Epilogue Live: Professional Broomstick Rider
Q: What do you think the trio's drink of choice would be?
Ron would probably choose cider or lager, Hermione a sweet wine or Amaretto Sour, and Harry might avoid drinking altogether or have a whiskey cabinet he doesn't enjoy.
Ep. 148 - Deathly Hallows 31.5: Lazy & Dumb
Q: Do you think because we kept joking that we weren't going past this chapter because of Fred's death that people took it seriously?
Maybe. Don't take what we say seriously.
Ep 145 - Deathly Hallows 29: Clamato Strikes Again
Q: If the Golden and Silver Trio were doing a dissertation, what do you think they'd do it on?
Harry would do his on Quidditch. Ron's would explain why four inches is actually a perfectly normal size. Hermione's would focus on house elves, while Luna's would be about crumple-horned snorcacks. Neville's would be very well-researched about the indoctrination of kids by Death Eaters, and Ginny's might be about outdated feminism.
