満州生まれ満州育ちの崎山さんに、戦争が終わってからの満州でのことを伺いました。教科書的には1945年8月、太平洋戦争で日本が負けて戦争は終わりました。しかし、満州ではその時からリアルな戦争が始まったのです。ソ連軍の侵攻、国共内戦。そんな中、お父さまは朝鮮へ出張。騒乱の町での暮らしが始まりました。
満州で生まれ満州育ちの崎山さんに、満州の女学校での学徒動員のことを伺いました。戦死した兵隊に着せる白衣の縫製、そして直径5mの風船作り。日本本土では風船爆弾として作られていた風船は、満州では細菌兵器として用いられようとしていました。体を病むほどの過酷な労働は、ある日ソ連軍の侵攻で突然中止になります。戦争経験者が日本国憲法を大切に思う気持ちがどこから来ているかを知れば、護憲派を揶揄できないと思います。
