I love this podcast. The book reviews are very thoughtful and thorough. It’s fun but also intellectually challenging. Once I read a book I come here to see if there is a review so I can think about the book and analyze it with them. Thanks for your work. I just listened to your Tender is the flesh review and it is fantastic. I read it in Spanish. Cadaver exquisito. Grqcias!
Intellectual mind candy
This podcast is a must for people who love horror fiction. In depth exploration of pieces of horror literature. The host is obviously educated on the topic and is offering reflections and analysis that fall somewhere in between ‘overly academic’ and ‘just someone spouting off with no real knowledge’. His voice and pace make it very ‘listen-able.’ His love of the genre is evident. I’d love to hear him have a discussion about a book with Neil from Talking Scared!
