Its been a few years since the last episode, but my nostalgia got to me tonight.
RIP DGS. I started listening early 2016, and fell in love instantly. The passion and love the guys had for the lore, in all its difficult-to-parse glory made for such a fun listen.
I followed them from slack to discord. I first heard of My name is Byf through this podcast. I discovered Seth Dickinson novels through this podcast. I’ll never get to find something else wonderful through it.

I’ve been replaying Destiny 1 and listening to all of the episodes on the hive because they have my favorite lore. Just listening to how rich the story of this game is and how much more we expected from the later years of this game makes me sad because we didn’t get what we wanted. It was said that this game was going to last 10 years. Did they mean 3 years for Destiny 1 and then continue to Destiny 2? For me Destiny 2’s story was underwhelming, it doesn’t feel as good as Destiny 1. Maybe I just... more
