  • Fantastic!

I really love this program because it almost always offers fresh and unique perspectives that people rarely get from reading or viewing traditional news sources. I wish they published more frequently, however when they do post, I find the content high quality!

  • Pitiful analysis

Just presenting the propaganda of one side isn’t analysis.

  • Stop interrupting your guests please

I really enjoy this podcast but the host interjects way too often when his guest is talking and it seems like he just wants to show off his knowledge and it gets annoying. Other than that, it covers great topics

  • Great intro music

Using Blade Runner opening theme as intro music is outstanding. Didn’t even listen to the episode but 5 stars for that. Use Rachels Song for the next intro.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How to Reopen the Strait of Hormuz
Q: If opening the Strait is delayed, what is the timeline and sequence for achieving a convoy-ready environment?
The guest explains a staged timeline: first, continued offensive strikes and mine disruption over several weeks, followed by establishing convoy routes with layered air and sea defenses, then gradually expanding throughput as risk is reduced, all while monitoring for changes in Iranian behavior and regional stability.
What Happens if the Supreme Court Kills Trump’s Tariffs?
Q: Do you expect a decision faster given the huge ramifications here?
It could happen much more quickly given the financial implications involved.
Keeping Russian Economy Afloat: Kremlin's Economic High Wire Act
Q: Nine months later, do you feel like the headwinds are at about the same wind speed or are they growing? How would you assess it?
No, they're growing. The headwinds are definitely growing with less room to absorb additional pressures.
Why Drones Can’t Replace Traditional Firepower
Q: Are you saying all of those things we should reduce our reliance on or specifically just the FPV personnel-launched drones?
Justin states that NATO forces shouldn't reduce investment in all uncrewed systems, but argues against prioritizing UAVs as the core form of lethality to counter Russian forces.
Why Drones Can’t Replace Traditional Firepower
Q: Are you arguing specifically against reliance on these personnel-launched FPV drones or all sorts of drones?
Justin argues against relying on large-scale development and manufacture of small UAVs, specifically FPV types, as the primary means of increasing lethality against Russian forces. He states that while UAVs should be invested in, they should not replace traditional firepower.
