  • Drivel

I have listened to this show from the start, and have found the hosts to be unengaging and the content to be boring drivel. I had to unfollow the show when, in the latest episode, Maddie referred to the brain as a “muscle” and then said that mothers who stay in corporate jobs don’t want to spend time with their children. I don’t need to waste my time listening to influencers’ uninformed opinions.

  • If you like more of a loose-format, gabbing with friends vibe!

Revising my previous review, as I think I missed the point of the whole podcast! I’ve been listening more and enjoying what feels like eavesdropping on some friends chatting and that has helped me reframe my understanding of their approach! If you’re looking for a traditional type of framework, this isn’t it. It’s not as interview-y, but rather just some friends gabbing over a coffee or wine. I’m loving it now!

  • Hard to get thru an episode

I gave this a 3 instead of a 2 because they seem like thoughtful, fun, sharp women, but they completely railroad and speak over their guests. It would be pretty off-putting if it was a conversation in real life, but because it’s a podcast it’s quite frustrating as a listener. I want to hear the guest, with rapport from the host(s) of course, but they are constantly interrupting and speaking over their guests. Additionally, the editing needs some work - maybe trying too hard to cut parts out? Bu... more

  • Privileged and Pointless

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to listen in on the idle musings of two wildly affluent women with too much time and too little self-awareness, Privileged & Pointless might be your next guilty pleasure—or your last nerve.

In a recent episode, co-host Nan casually drops a story that feels plucked from a satire sketch: she returned a NuFACE device to Nordstrom after two years. Yes, two full years. The tone? Not sheepish or ironic—just matter-of-fact entitlement. She even admits to “taking ... more
