As a young game developer this podcast has done a lot to help me understand the executive and financial perspective on the industry. As a creative and engineer I don't always agree with there conclusions but I have great respect for there experience and appreciate there willingness to share there expertise so generously.
I liked how the hosts have thought deeply about the uniqueness of the games business, how it’s similar to other entertainment business like movies but ultimately how it is more about innovation than content in the end

I was initially very impressed by the credentials and experience of Mitch Lasky. (Blake Robbins is only there to give him someone to talk to.)
Unfortunately, as I listened I found their opinions and tastes more and more off-putting. Talking about how cool or exciting immoral business practices were. Speaking glowingly about some of the worst trends the industry has had to offer.
