  • Categories!

Why is it so hard to find the members hurling pod episodes? The hurling pod is its own show so the episodes available to all are easy to find. But the members ones are much harder to find on this app. It should be categorised as its own show as well

  • Separate the GAA into categories

Love OTB but maybe it would be an idea to separate out the gaa into categories. There is so much content across them all there is a lot to search through. Hurling, Football, womens gaa etc.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Minister Charlie McConalogue: Improving Sports Participation | Answering your questions on Sports funding across Ireland | OFF THE BALL
Q: What steps are being taken to ensure urban areas get more funding?
There is a push to encourage applications from urban areas, improve local authority collaboration, and use planning processes to identify land; Sport Ireland is now a statutory consultee in planning, which should help address capacity issues.
Minister Charlie McConalogue: Improving Sports Participation | Answering your questions on Sports funding across Ireland | OFF THE BALL
Q: How can clubs access the Community Sports Facilities Fund and what misconceptions exist?
Clubs can apply if not-for-profit; equipment grants are available even without premises, while facilities grants require leases or ownership. A common misconception is that those without premises are barred from funding, which is not true.
Minister Charlie McConalogue: Improving Sports Participation | Answering your questions on Sports funding across Ireland | OFF THE BALL
Q: What does the latest Sports Monitor data say about participation trends?
Participation remains high with over 2.1 million people participating weekly; however, the government recognizes a gender gap and is focusing on programs to grow participation among women and people with disabilities.
From 10 down to champions! | Wexford’s Gerry McQuaid - ‘It’s like they were at a wake!’ | OFF THE BALL BREAKFAST
Q: Gerry, can you describe the turning point in the final and how the team managed to sustain their momentum?
Gerry described how the team refused to panic at halftime, stayed focused on small, manageable steps, and built belief through disciplined play and timely substitutions that kept the defense under pressure and allowed them to seize control as the game progressed.
LIMERICK DEFEAT WATERFORD | 'They're going to be watching the World Cup instead' | Off The Ball
Q: What are the main calendar or training challenges affecting teams this season?
Teams are missing out on substantial training time due to long breaks and scheduling, which hampers preparation for the All-Ireland run and hurts performance consistency.
