I thoroughly enjoy this podcast! These women make grant writing interesting and funny. I don’t know who else could pull that off. I’m a new grant writer for a local government and the information here has been so valuable.

  • Great podcast

Excellent podcast. The type of fundraising I do is quite different from generally what is covered in the podcast, but I get something out of every episode. Whether on strategy, practical suggestions, communications, or managing colleagues up and down, there is always great content. Many thanks!

  • The real deal

These two are so well respected nationally in grant professional circles. Everything they say is on point, useful, and entertaining (see how I used an Oxford comma?)

My biggest problem with the podcast is that I tend to talk BACK to them while they are talking. This is not a problem in the car, but if I'm in public I have to hurry and act like I'm on a phone call.

Grantsmanship, Resilience, and Celebrity Philanthropy
Q: That was a master class on diversifying funding. What are your thoughts on applying Giving USA insights to board development and long-term planning?
Giving USA data should guide boards to diversify beyond corporate giving, emphasize individual giving, and plan around predictable revenue, while teaching board members to understand the philanthropic ecosystem and grant processes.
Unapologetically Profitable with Julie Boll

How to Run Fundraising Events Without Burning Out
Q: What are the top three mistakes that consultants make when growing their business?
The guest identifies jumping into consultancy too soon, taking on too much without support, and failing to establish clear boundaries and capacity as the core mistakes; recommends building a foundation of experience, leveraging coaching, and ensuring sustainable workload.
