先週は岐阜でダンスの仕事をしてきました。そこに、生後6ヶ月の赤ちゃんがいるダンサーのあやかにも来てもらいました。赤子がいる夫婦の生活を垣間見させてもらって、これは本当に大変なことだと実感しました。
芸術の秋、ダンス関係者はみな忙しい時期ではないかと思います。わたくしは、そんなに忙しい訳ではないのですが、それでもいろいろギリギリです。先週はポッドキャストの録音もできませんでした。今週もギリギリで踏ん張ります。
私はいわゆる汚部屋の住人でした。片付けも掃除も苦手、というかやり方がわからず、足の踏み場がないのが日常でした。色んなきっかけがあって、ふと気付いたら家具もほぼないガランとした部屋の床にモップをかける日常になっていましたが、ここまでの変化は、本当にゆっくりでした。
人生で初めて審査員の仕事を頼まれました。人のダンス作品を審査するなんて！？とためらったものの、若い人の背中を押すために真剣に考えて作品を見ています。いい作品の定義、作品のコンセプトのあり方、応募時に気を付けることなど、こちら側に立ったことで見えたことがたくさんありました。何かしらに応募する人にはぜひ気をつけてほしいことが色々あります。
