I had some trouble reading the actual book due to the sheer lack of paragraphs in it, so instead of that route I decided to find an audiobook. Luckily, this one was the first one I found and it is beyond useful. Unlike others, I find this one is so much more emotive and helps you to understand the true theatrics to the genius that is the book of Frankenstein. Others in my literature class found other audiobooks blank and therefore struggled to succeed in the assignment, but thanks to this audiob... more
Out of order episodes, weak sound design and poor reader. Do not recommend
I tried to read this book but couldn’t get into it I love this audiobook the reader is very nice
Despite being a little agitated about the order of the chapters. The reading were clear, no tremors in her voice, and it was a good volume where I could hear all that she was saying.
i heard this book was super boring and i had to read it for summer reading for school so i figured it would be good to listen to the audio. i started listening to it on a flight (i downloaded the first half of the chapters) and it worked perfect. the reader’s voice it very nice to me. overall i loved the book — not boring at all. the only reason i don’t give 5 stars is because a few parts are left out. like the letters and a few chapters are cut short… so you have to read it on your own. but tha... more
Meh. I cut out mid sentence and jumbled a lot. :/
Very well read and thoroughly enjoyable to listen to.
So they don’t play in order just hold down the podcast and add them to play next to ensure they’re in order
In these days of social isolation this podcast is a welcome distraction.
It is a fantastic story and the reading is nicely done. Unfortunately there is a problem with the playback sequence so it jumps to the wrong chapters. As long as you remember which chapter you listened to last this is easily correctable
I really enjoyed the reading, but was frequently aggravated when the episodes played out of order.
They need to have someone reorder the chapters so the story line remains intact.. I’m assuming this is a fluke, my experience with this production company has been very good thus far.. guys, what happened?!
The voice of the narrator is very clear and enjoyable. If you are looking for a nice narrated versión this might be the one for you. :)
I was planning to download and listen until I looked up the chapter count. According to multiple sources, the book has 24 chapters. This podcast has 22. The last update was 2007. Never mind.
Well it was good and I am writing this because it is with extreme frustration that I can. I am on chapter nine and can not locate chapter ten. I will continue to search for the next chapter. I read all the reviews and they are all right. Inconsistent chapters Victor not a man but being told by a woman
