I love this show and have a lot of fun playing along with my kids in the car. Even when the topics are questionable (and they’re often not), that goes over their heads. Today’s episode (5/16/25) brought up new questions. Your guest, Zakiah M was out of it in some way. When my 9-year-old wanted to know if she was under some sort of influence. She was all over the place and not making much sense. She has been a nice enough person in other cast appearances. Was she okay when she taped this episode... more
I love listening to this podcast! I hear the phrase “between the four” “Between the two” more than that is ‘among’ the three, four etc.
This is a great quiz format and writing the puzzles sounds very difficult. But the rules seem to vary based on the puzzle writers. Gary was the pioneer and wrote his clues almost like crossword puzzle clues. The latest writer makes you do mental gymnastics to make the clues connect (example. Blind science isn’t a phrase but we were supposed to think of Blinded Me With Science as the connection). It’s not as much fun if you don’t trust the writer to stick to the rules.
Hit or miss, generally tough to get. My least favorite of their shows
My family and I love writing down the clues and figuring out the puzzle before listening. This week our answer seemed to make more sense to us than the official answer.
