I listen to Forest North on my commute through NYC and love to hear from the stewards of my beloved wilderness in Northern MN. The Ojibwemowin episode is a topic close to my heart. Thank you, Brett, for elevating it on your podcast!

  • Perspectives

I have loved listening to these episodes and hearing the perspectives of people that work and live near the wilderness. It’s always interesting to hear stories about people working in different parts of the country, then coming here, and their experiences. I have also enjoyed hearing about the variety of jobs that are available with The Forest Service. Great job!

  • Very interesting!

I know very little about forests… but I know my friend Brett, and I know of the good work done by the Ely Tourism Bureau. So I decided to have a listen to the premier episode of this podcast, and… I found it very engaging and interesting! I will definitely follow this podcast and listen again!

Question: Why do we say “We live ON the Superior National Forest” instead of “IN…”?
