Hard to not lose focus of listening, things like grammar and strong accents can be quite disturbing.

  • Minder enthousiast

De onderwerpen die besproken worden vind ik interessant, maar lastig te beluisteren doordat de sprekers de Engelse taal niet beheersen.

  • It’s not bad but they should probably stick to Dutch

I love the Dutch Omdenken podcast. I’m genuinely a fan and it has really helped me. I’m just not sure if it works as well in English. I don’t mean that as a critique, you can’t expect a person to be just as fluent and eloquent in their second language as they are in their mother’s tongue. But I do feel like I’m missing the nuance, spontaneous feel and personal touch the Dutch conversations have. However there haven’t been that many episodes yet, so maybe Berthold will grow into it more.
