If you’re looking for a listen that is as fun as it is captivating, then Fine in Dandee is a wonderful choice. All characters are relatable and will surely make anyone who’s ever been to or grown up in a small town with drama burst out loud laughing!
The characters catch your interest. You feel like you know them and can get a cup of coffee or a haircut with everyone. And Mrs. Shorter is a hoot! We look forward to each new episode.
For what I assume is a story about a woman growing to love the town she hated her whole life and its inhabitants, the drama and characterizations are pitched at a level that is too toxic. Except for two characters, Tracy's hairdresser friend and employee respectively, every character here is a terrible person. Not quirky. Terrible. I come away with the impression that Tracy should never have returned because her customers, her old friend, and her family are all not worth the time.
