TAKT PROJECT東京に拠点を構えるデザインスタジオTAKT PROJECTが、2021年の「TOHOKU Lab」（宮城県仙台市）設立と併せて始動した自主的なフィールドリサーチ活動「TOHOKU Research」。その目的は「東北のデザイン」ではなく「デザインの東北性」を探ることにあります。都市での生活や経済活動から離れた場にある自然と文化、そこで暮らす人々との交流から浮かび上がってきた「東北性」とは何か。この番組は、3年間のフィールドリサーチを振り返りつつ、リサーチメンバーと外部の有識者によって、これからの社会とデザインのあり方を模索する対話の記録です。
