薛岳是80年代華語搖滾搖的真正滾實踐者，如果沒有薛岳，歌壇會少了一段早期搖滾的里程碑，他的聲音如火焰般燃起歌迷心中跳躍狂熱的音符。早期的薛岳是鼓手出身，以鼓聲征戰過無數巨星演出的場合，因為熱愛音樂，將自己的鼓聲化為歌聲，唱出他短短36年生命中，一生的搖滾魂！
