Q: You, as a readout, you use mostly stripes. Is this constraint in not going from one germ layer to the other germ layer inherited from a short germ and insect?
Some of this might go back to your original question, saying if you're too strong of an enhancer, does that come at a cost? I think early embryonic enhancers are more tunable.
