  • Great show!

I’m not a basketball guy but Minnesota sports fan for sure! I enjoy this show because the analysis is deep yet I can follow it. Wolves are currently down 0-3 in the Western Conference finals and while I really want to see a Wolves win, I also want more Running With The Wolves!!!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Timberwolves Season Preview Part 1 With Charlie Walton From Zone Coverage
Q: Do you see more minutes for Jalen Clark or Rob Dillingham?
The guests suggest it will hinge on the rotation Finch chooses, with a nine-deep approach likely, and Dillingham potentially earning more minutes than Clark, though both will share time depending on matchup and rotation needs.
D1 NCAA Men's Basketball Associate Head Coach Spenser Bland On NIL Culture, Moving From D2 To D1 And The NCAA Transfer Portal: From Moorhead To Denver University
Q: How does NIL and the Transfer Portal change your and Coach Berge's job?
Everyone is dealing with it; the key is to recruit good people and families, manage expectations, and not simply chase the biggest NIL checks, while leveraging the realities of the modern transfer environment to fit the program.
Realistic Timberwolves Trade Targets Plus: The Meteoric Rise Of Anthony Edwards And What The Wolves Are Like Behind The Scenes With Andrew Dukowitz From ZoneCoverageMN
Q: Who is your favorite interview to get quotes from, and why?
The guest says Jaden McDaniels is their favorite because he is candid and relaxed, providing authentic, unfiltered quotes, though Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert also offer strong interview material when available.
The Timberwolves' Greatest Weakness (Other Than Point Guard) With Wilder Adams
Q: Are you a Chris Finch fan? What do you think he does well?
The host and Wilder discuss Finch's ability to shape team identity and his patience, acknowledging strengths in development and playoff positioning while questioning late-game adjustments and the handling of young players.
The Timberwolves' Greatest Weakness (Other Than Point Guard) With Wilder Adams
Q: What do you think for the Wolves other than point guard?
The guest argues the main weakness lies in the bench depth and the development of younger players, especially the 2024 class, noting that the bench hasn't delivered consistent production beyond Naz Reid and that Dillingham's lengthier adjustment period is a focal point.
