  • Helping me bring clients to the agency.

We are a 17 year old 7 figure ARR agency. Our biz model is very different from most of the folks doing agency work. But doesn’t matter the ideas discussed and the nitty gritty execution work is very helpful to us.

It’s entertaining as well. I have no doubt these people would excel in agency vertical.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Walking Away From a $2M Agency (ft. Dan Gent w/ Dear Agency Founder) | Episode 206
Q: Why did you choose to walk away rather than pursue a full exit when the market slowed?
It was a forced walk away due to market conditions and timing; even with buyer interest, the risk and the changing economy made a complete exit less viable, and the focus shifted to preserving personal and team stability while pivoting to advisory work and writing.
Walking Away From a $2M Agency (ft. Dan Gent w/ Dear Agency Founder) | Episode 206
Q: What did you learn about pricing and the danger of underselling yourself with a retainer model?
Pricing should reflect true business costs and desired profits, not just what you can get away with; track hours and margins, forecast future needs, and price to deliver sustainable value rather than chasing volume.
Walking Away From a $2M Agency (ft. Dan Gent w/ Dear Agency Founder) | Episode 206
Q: How did you end up naming the agency Lighthouse London and what impact did that have on pipeline and branding?
The name change was a strategic move after finding Lighthouse already taken; adding London helped secure unique SEO and kept the founder-focused reputation through referrals, which fueled early pipeline growth.
How to Get Clients with TikTok (ft. Cesar Gil w/ Symphony Advertising)
Q: How long did it take to get the first DM from a business owner?
Cesar explains it was a long, uneven journey, often taking months or years, with spikes of response once the content and positioning aligned; consistency over time eventually yielded the first meaningful inquiries.
The Restaurant Niche Episode | Episode 196
Q: What role do photos and menu item presentation play in converting DoorDash/Uber Eats/Grubhub orders?
High‑quality images and well‑lit, accurate menu items increase click‑through and conversion, while proper pricing and modifiers ensure orders are profitable for the restaurant and compelling for customers.
