I just recently discovered this project, but kudos to Emily and her producer (Collin?) on creating something useful and pleasant and timely.
Everyone should pay attention to local politics—they affect you and your neighbors more than anything on the national stage, but there is a high barrier to entry that requires free time to build up a knowledge base.
