I don’t necessarily agree with all the ideological proclivities held by Amit and Vivek, but nine episodes in and it is evident that both hosts present well-researched and fairly thorough analyses of a myriad of issues, contemporary and historical. Their podcast helps fill in major gaps left by major “news” networks.

Unfortunately this is a flop. I am a fan of the Seen & the Unseen, and had high expectations. The fundamental issue with the podcast is that the hosts are neither scholars or participants in the financial markets, but insist on pontificating on the state of the markets. It would be better if they could stay out of the areas where they have no knowledge. Can they pivot to something more purely economic? Or better still get an expert on the Indian financial markets in the segment about that topic.... more
There are two tour of podcasts. One will enrich only with knowledge and facts without political opinion. For example EconTalk podcasts by Russ Roberts. The other type of podcasts are political opinions mixed with facts. ordinary listener may feel empowered with knowledge but will be loaded with political opinion over the period.

I started listening Seen and the Unseen during the start of pandemic and most of the episodes are of platinum standards. Very detailed and brain storming discussion.
