I liked listening to this passively with my child on car rides to help progress his Spanish learning but the Mr Mouse and Mrs Elephant segment was so inappropriate. Another review mentioned the out-of-place storyline and I have to agree, the whole thing was not appropriate for kids. I was put off by it but the part that bothered me the most was the fact that Mr Mouse would continuously kiss Mrs Elephant’s feet. She steps on berries, he licks her feet clean. This lacks richness. Our search for a good homeschooling option for Spanish introduction continues. The accents are inauthentic and the whole thing is cheesy. My 6, 5, and 3 year old boys can hardly stand this show. I have tried a handful of times to make it work, but it lacks educational sequence, culture, and authentic speaking. I’m beyond thankful for this podcast and the people behind it. We originally found Eat Your Spanish when the pandemic hit. I had two young kids at home and it was a great way to add in some extra learning. Fun, cute and well made.
The podcast is lighthearted and the music is so beautifully written and produced. Evan and Vanessa are such loving people and the podcast shows. Incredible talent. Huge hearts.

I can’t say enough about how much we love this podcast. It is a staple in our family. Not only are the kids laughing, but my husband and I are laughing too. It was our first introduction to Spanish and helped us get our toes wet while making Spanish fun for the whole family.
Easy and fun Spanish lessons with stories and songs to learn the language! And this podcast doesn’t get mad at you when you don’t practice Spanish for one millionth of a second unlike some green bird does lol! Good job, keep it up! ✨✨✨⭐️
