新年あけましておめでとうございます。
正月らしいことを話そうかなと思ったのですが、人生の本質的な部分・・・つらいできごとや苦しい日々をどう乗り越えるかについて、『夜と霧』のフランクルの言葉や『青とうずしお』に登場するおばあちゃんのセリフなどを借りて、私の思うところを語っています。

日本現代詩の母、とも呼ばれる詩人永瀬清子さん。
岡山県赤磐市の永瀬清子さんの生家で、永瀬さんの詩を朗読し、その孤高からの創造について語る機会をこの晩秋に得ました。
ただ、私にはそれだけではなく、永瀬清子さんの直筆の原稿を生家保存会に届けるという大役があったのです。
私たち詩を愛する者にとって、永瀬さんの生原稿は（心的な）重要文化財です。
もう道中の一歩ずつが緊張したのなんのって、３億円運んでいてもあんな気持ちにはならなかったと思います。

下関で金子みすゞさんの詩を朗読したり、歌ったりするステージをピアニストの髙橋望さんとやってきました。
とても良い時間になりました。
大学の授業でも年に一度、金子みすゞさんの作品と人生を紹介しています。
今年もまた、学生たちが金子みすゞさんの視点に呼応する形で、新しい詩を書いてくれました。それを朗読しますね。
