  • Please let’s not show arrogance talking about Premier League already we’re a long way off

Let’s hope the players don’t listen to this podcast because as far as you’re concerned, a lot of them aren’t good enough! I don’t think we should be getting ahead of ourselves talking about us being in the Premier League

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

EP 139: Deadline Day - January 2025
Q: Why no consideration for any of the younger players for the 9, 10 and centre back roles?
Younger players could be an option, but the club may not feel they're ready to step up in crucial positions at this time.
EP 139: Deadline Day - January 2025
Q: What is your take on the transfer window for Leeds United?
It's a bit surprising that no players were brought in. I think they are short in a couple of areas, and they shouldn't wait until the end of the season to address that.
EP 139: Deadline Day - January 2025
Q: How strong do you have to be in a January transfer window, knowing that you could be on your way even as late as the 31st?
You need to have a strong character, but that's the case in any transfer window. It can be tough, especially if you're not playing and wanting that move.
EP 138: Do some fun stuff
Q: How many wins do Leeds need to secure promotion?
The hosts suggest that Leeds need approximately 10 wins from their remaining 17 games to secure enough points for promotion.
EP 135: Il est temps de changer?
Q: So, for your accusations of being happy clappers, send them to dgtv at bbc.co.uk, cc Simon Rix. Popey, we were both over there. How do you reflect on what you saw at the MKM Stadium?
Well, you and I would both be pressing one on the fan club, wouldn't we, for a long time.
