  • A must-listen for Bombers fans

A great podcast from great blokes who are great fans of the Essendon Bombers. In-depth, statistically informed analysis of the team and playing style that isn’t boring, staid or too complex. I really can’t recommend this podcast enough!

  • Look forward to it every week!

One of, if not my favourite Essendon podcast. The guys just give a different outlook on the game and why things may and may not be happening. Tuning in weekly has really developed my knowledge of the game and given me a greater understanding, not just from an emotional fan perspective but a tactical one. Keep up the great work!

Don The Stat 2025 Round 21 Preview vs Sydney (and Moneyball Trade targets)
Q: Do you think this is a game we can win?
If I'm being rational, the Swans probably have five of the six best players on the ground. The Swans likely have a talent advantage, but if we can pressure them into errors, we may have a chance.
Don The Stat 2025 Mid-Season Q&A
Q: What types of players might we want to target in the draft?
We should focus on small sharp goal-kicking forwards and genuine inside midfielders that can help improve team balance.
Don The Stat 2025 Mid-Season Q&A
Q: What do you think for the rest of the years, even with some players coming back, the best sort of setup is moving forward?
We need to stick with the structure we've been forced into, which has been more agile and mobile.
Don The Stat 2025 Mid-Season Q&A
Q: What will come of the likes of Parrish, Redmond, McGraw, Langford going forward?
It's uncertain for the immediate future, but some players may need to be moved on to unlock other talent.
Don The Stat 2025 Mid-Season Q&A
Q: What's it going to take for us to be routinely putting teams on the park that are as good as or better than Geelong's?
It's hard to argue with the disparity, and it will take a couple of draft and trade periods to improve the depth and experience of our list.
