  • Sellouts

Deleting my 5 star review because they ruined the show. Deciding to make sports gambling your official sponsor is bad enough, but then you fire the host over it? I thought integrity was what made this show the best, but it was actually Jeff; now they have neither.

Dodgers bullpen struggling in June, Dalton Rushing's ABS challenges, Roki Sasaki | DodgerHeads
Q: Why has the Dodgers' development path for Dalton Rushing included more live reps and ABS integration?
They want to accelerate his development behind the plate and at the catching position, using ABS to calibrate the strike zone and give him more live-rep work to build confidence and rhythm, especially since he is blocked for regular playing time by Will Smith.
Dodgers bullpen struggling in June, Dalton Rushing's ABS challenges, Roki Sasaki | DodgerHeads
Q: What has been the major factor behind the bullpen struggles in June?
The panel attributes the June bullpen struggles to a combination of high-stress innings, a higher collective workload, short outings by starters forcing longer appearances by relievers, and some misfortunes in specific at-bats that stretched the bullpen more than usual.
Salary cap, blackouts and more! MLB and Players Association trade shots in first CBA proposals
Q: What could the blackout policy and revenue sharing changes mean for fans and the game if a deal is reached without immediate cap concessions?
Brown explains that bundling local media rights to reduce blackouts could help fans, but it requires an overarching framework (like a cap or similar structure) to be financially viable for all clubs, especially the big-market ones.
Salary cap, blackouts and more! MLB and Players Association trade shots in first CBA proposals
Q: Do you think there's a realistic path to bridging the gap, or are we likely to see a PR battle for months?
Brown argues that with entrenched positions and a PR-first phase, real negotiation may lag behind public messaging, but there are discussable items beyond the cap (like WBC and expansion) that could provide a path to movement.
Salary cap, blackouts and more! MLB and Players Association trade shots in first CBA proposals
Q: What are your general thoughts on the two different proposals from the Union and the League so far?
Brown notes that the proposals reflect two different philosophies: the players seeking higher compensation within a fundamentally different economics, while the owners push for a hard cap to control costs, and he explains why those positions are difficult to reconcile at this stage.
