Andrés Accorsi y Gonzalo RuizDistinguida Competencia buscó rescatar o rememorar, en su momento, aquellos cómics no-canónicos publicados por DC Comics. A dicho rescate del período transcurrido entre el final de Crisis on Infinite Earths (1986) y el inicio de Zero Hour (1994), le sumamos otro período de gloria, trasncurrido entre el inicio del nuevo milenio y el 2012, con el intento de un nuevo paradigma con el New 52.
