full confession: I have a penchant for medical history and trivia, so this is right up my alley!
A lot of the episodes are true crime related, which is fine. I love true crime. But I wanted this to be about diseases. I have my masters in medical history and while I wouldn’t classify this as medical history per se, it does an excellent job of explaining the diseases, origins, and the culture in which it exists/existed. So if that’s what you’re wanting, along with heavy doses of true crime, that’s what you’ll get here. Like I said in the title, it’s a good podcast but just not for me.
The topics are always fascinating, and I love that the host works in the medical field and can offer a unique, first-hand perspective.
I’ve been listening for a long time and I have loved listening to you improve over the years. You come up with such creative topics! Glad you’re back! I look forward to hearing more!
If you’re, uh, going to be , uh, podcaster then you, um, need to learn how to , ummm, stop saying, uh, “um” & “uh” every 3rd or 4th word. How do you talk to your patients? If I was under your care I would not be confident in you. Harsh, yes, but true.
It would also help if you studied the information a little more prior to recording. You sound very unsure of yourself and what you’re talking about.
