  • Good but primarily for a US audience

Dr Orsini repeats time and again, "I believe all doctors are compassionate people". This is simply not true...and betrays a well-meaning naivety which, unfortunately, prevents honest conversations. I was hoping for more stories from patients and analysis from insightful experts...but half of the episodes are from business people, who have little insight into healthcare and, therefore, have little to contribute to healthcare conversations.

  • Vulnerability and true leadership on display.

I was blown away last night listening to Dr Anthony Orsini interviewing Dr. Jonathan Fisher about his own journey with anxiety and depression. This type of vulnerability, courage and leadership is needed now more than ever in the medical community.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Support Changes Outcomes
Q: What was the most difficult conversation you had while trying to roll this initiative out?
The most challenging aspect was getting past the tendency to center my own experience and ensuring the initiative is inclusive for all employees, regardless of their differing cancer journeys.
Entrepreneurship with a Purpose
Q: What advice would you have for someone who feels like they have a great idea, but doesn't have the confidence to take it to the next level?
They have to be able to sit down with someone, discuss it and find a mentor, find someone that could be a benefit to them to talk to.
Entrepreneurship with a Purpose
Q: Is there a specific difficult conversation that you feel you've learned to overcome or one that really kind of tweaks you that you'd rather do anything than have?
Delivering bad news is probably one of the worst conversations I have. I used to dread that they weren't doing what they were set out to do.
