DFS Q&A: What Do Consistent Winners Do Differently?
Q: What's something you've noticed that separates people who actually win consistently from people who are just using the tools correctly?
Consistency in DFS hinges on bankroll management, disciplined exposure, and a process that survives long-term variance; top players maximize repetitions across slates and sports to keep compounding their gains rather than chasing short-term spikes.
DFS Q&A: One Build or Separate Builds for Each Contest?
Q: do you recommend creating a separate build for each contest? otherwise, isn't it possible for some of the line up pull metrics to be skewed by different dynamics between contest sim results?
I would not recommend running a separate build for each contest because grouping contests properly keeps the data clean; you can run multiple contests in one build by using one group per contest or both all in one group depending on your goals, but separate builds aren't necessary unless you have a strong sport-specific reason.
DFS Q&A: How Does Portfolio Mode Work?
Q: What should I do if I don't see the Old Saber Score in my plan?
If you can't see it, use the report a problem option to get support, since some plans may not display old Saber Score by default; switching to Unix 1 or checking the lineup pool sorting metrics can also reveal or enable access to those metrics.
DFS Q&A: How Does Portfolio Mode Work?
Q: How do you build or access the Old SaberScore filter in SaberSim?
Old Saber Score is accessible as a sorting metric; you can view it via the eyeball in the sorting metrics or switch to UniQ 1 to see it, then add it as a pool filter to sort or filter lineups based on that metric.
DFS Q&A: How Does Portfolio Mode Work?
Q: Is there a setting to account for the ratio between projected and actual points in the last games, especially for Showdown and FanDuel single-game formats?
There isn't a built-in SaberSim option for that metric; you can implement it externally by creating a ratio or multiplier from past projections versus actuals, upload it as a custom projection or custom data, and then apply filters or rules in SaberSim accordingly.
