This episode was very interesting because of her love for the desert, the way she found her new journey, willingness to take on everything. As with every podcast, I find similarities with all these brave women. I can’t wait to move to Palm Springs. I envision a big party we have with all podcast guests sharing their stories. Maybe hold event as a fundraiser? Maybe even a calendar like they did in Calendar Girls movie? So many ideas to share.

Dawn Davis does an incredible job meticulously stitching together the stories of so many women who call the Mojave Desert home. Whether born here or relocated— this desert has an important place for women, then and now, and it’s all being recorded here. I love the Desert Lady Diaries! I live in San Diego and recently went up to Joshua Tree and fell in love. I’m an artist and I felt like it totally shifted my art.
