Ik ken beter geproduceerde podcasts, maar geef hem toch 3 sterren. Vroeger was ik begeesterd trendwatcher en een voorspelling van de toekomst is lastig als je de menselijke aard en de geschiedenis niet kent. Daarom leek het me een goed idee om te leren van de opkomst en de val van het Romeinse rijk. Ik heb de podcast pas net ontdekt, maar ben hem aan het bingen. Fantastisch verteld. Genieten als je van geschiedenis houdt. De afbeeldingen en landkaarten geven inzicht en verduidelijken wat er verteld wordt. De verteller heeft een prettige stem en dat maakt luisteren naar het verhaal heel prettig. Aanrader.
Indrukwekkende podcast! Genoten van alle meer dan 60 afleveringen. Website erbij is ook geweldig. Helaas allang geen nieuwe afleveringen. Ik vrees dat het stopt, dat zou erg jammer zijn, ik kijk uit naar de keizers. Ook als het stopt, veel dank aan de maker. U hebt mijn leven verrijkt!
