It's definitely noir, but stays away from the 'world-weary, seen it all' type protagonist and leans more into someone making his way in a host... more
This is a fun yet gripping drama. Mixing familiar themes and styles into something that’s new, captivating and most importantly enjoyably entertaining.
I binge listen to this all while at work! Man everything was so good. From the acting to the sound effects I was in deep. I was even getting frustrated cause I wanted to know more. I hope there is a season two and also I will be buying the book so I can see how close I was with imagining everything. Great work guys.
I may be a tad biased. But hearing the podcast episodes… I’m as drawn into the story just as much as when I first read the books. That’s what good writing does… Makes you forget everything and live in that world. The sound design is exceptional.
Love this episode! Abendingo sounds cute 😍
