Dark Souls for the visually impaired

Alex

Join me, Alex, as I play through dark souls and describe everything that happens on screen so that visually impaired people may experience my favourite game. Im no professional so dont expect insane quality, but this is just a way to share something I love with people who may not be able to experience it.

Welcome back, today we take on Seath the Scaleless in his home the crystal caves. This is a very boring bossfight and its easy as hell, the episode only took 45 minutes because getting to him takes ages. You should still listen anyway im just warning... more

Welcome back, today we are taking on the infamous Ornstein and Smough in Anor Londo while describing everything on screen. Turns out describing two bosses at once while also trying to beat them is hard, but hang around to see how I go.

In this episode I attempt to ring the second bell of awakening by fighting Chaos witch Quelaag, then we move on to sens fortress and fight the Iron Golem. I also attempt to describe bossfights better and make things more interesting.

In the first episode of this playthrough I tackle the start of the game and completing the first objective which is to ring the bell of awakening. I also learn how to describe things as i'm in the middle of doing them and succeed, mostly.

Great job Alex, I had fun listening along. After beating the ER DLC I’ve just had an itch to revisit the Dark Souls games. I had just finished a play through of DS1 and wanted to consume more DS2 content. I enjoyed listening to how you navigated the game differently than I did. Doing a DS3 play through now, add me on discord at “mcskillz” if you wanna chill and play some souls games. I have a Solaire profile pic. If you do another one of these in the future, I will listen.
