The narrations are great, but the original stories, they are even better. Looking forward to more đđŒ
Followed DNT from you tube! Love the story choice and the narration. I like how thereâs long and short stories. Keep them coming and do some monster apocalypse stuff please.
Truly one of the best shows of the genre right now- great stories read by one of the best narrators in horror right now. Moody and dark, just the way I prefer my narrated horror. It is inexplicable why this show isn't far bigger than it is!
Iâve been listening to DNT on YouTube for a year or so, slowly enjoying the large library of back episodes.
Honestly, not every story Brian narrates is perfect, but his narration and production value are top notch.
The Stories from East Texas series is my favorite of all his work so far, and you canât go wrong starting with those stores if youâre just finding DNT now.
Dark Night Tales is my favorite horror narrator, storyteller and writer in the genre! Found him on YouTube, but so glad heâs expanded to podcast format, too! 10/10

A visceral collection of horror storytelling and atmospheric thrillers anchored by immersive first-person narration. Across recent episodes, listeners are treated to survival-forward horrors, eerie park and wilderness tales, claustrophobic psychology, and supernatural dread that lingers after the story ends. The host cadence emphasizes suspense, craftsmanship, and a commitment to human voices over AI, making it a go-to for fans of intimate, character-driven horror and audio-only storytelling. Notably, the mix frequently blends outdoor or remote settings with slow-burn tension and a strong sense of place, which helps the listener feel steeped in each tale.
The show's strength lies in its consistent voice work and varied scenariosâfrom park ... more
