It's an absolute pleasure of a podcast. Russ, formerly a seaman on the John C. Stennis and current humble welder, will not give financial advice, but instead provide insights into the wide world of finance based on his own personal experience. Using his Cook County edumacation and many, many years of life on this earth, he will regale you with tales of gentleman's clubs, punk bands, Peewee Herman, and fun navy slang like "belay my last", among myriad other things. more
Russ provides a great deal of information in layman’s terms for the average guy or gal looking to get into dividend investing, he occasionally covers a interesting dividend story such as the tylenol murder s, info on a particular stock, information on his own gains, losses and payouts. Great podcast that is fun and easy listening and I never feel like I didn’t learn something. Thank you Russ
He is always coming in my earholes, that’s what he said, every week for 30 minutes or so. The earhole fun always leaves me wanting more.
Very helpful to a novice in the investing world. Pay attention to his book recommendations.
Over the last three weeks, and driving across the country, I’ve listened to all 181 glorious episodes of Dapper Dividends (at 2x speed, of course). It is a most excellent laugh-out-loud podcast adventure. From Russ, I’ve not only learned so much about investing, but also 80’s & 90’s music, life, happiness, the U.S. Navy, the Chicago education system, and most importantly taking sips of the agua! more
