That is our aim in this podcast - to help understand what the gospel writers (and more important... more

This has become a major focus for me. My understanding of the gospel has grown so much since listening.
In a homily a couple months ago, we were encouraged to read and pray with the daily gospel; so, I found this podcast on Hallow App and been listening to it since. The contextual and literal verse by verse exegesis has enriched my understanding of the gospel and deepened my prayer.
I have been listening since January, I am so glad I found this podcast! I have learned so much and have started approaching my Bible-study in a new way. This podcast has borne so much fruit. I share it with everyone! If you really want a break down of the Gospel readings for the day l, line for line, and to understand the message the Gospel writers were trying to convey, then this podcast is for you! It has given me so much, this show is truly a gift!
I’ve been listening to the daily gospel ex of Jesus, which I originally found on the hollow app for more than six months now. I listen to the daily readings, and then this podcast. The podcast is written straight to the point packed with information and it’s made such a diffe... more

A concise daily exegesis focused on the day's Gospel reading, grounded in a literal, first-century understanding and anchored with Catechism references. Each episode offers line-by-line context, historical notes, and reflections on how the Gospel would have been understood by its original audience, making Catholic scholarship accessible for daily Mass-goers and personal study. The format tends to be short, practical, and church-contextual, appealing to listeners who want clear, doctrine-informed insights that they can apply to prayer and everyday faith.
