I’m not always in agreement with Jess’s takes but it’s always a fun listen and her excitement is infectious. I also always learn something interesting - I love the intro to the writers, directors and cast. I’ve found several dramas through that alone. Miguel is a fun collaborator when he’s on and Jess and Rico’s dynamic is great. My favorite part is Jess’s reaction to some of Rico’s more out-there takes or when he doesn’t like something Jess clearly does. Her gasp and “RICO!” just slays me. If y... more
I feel like I used to occasionally agree with Jess's takes but for the past year the shows she's reviewing are the most violent blood thirsty or horror-tinged ones and I just can't go there. Also, she seems to pride herself more and more on her obnoxious hot takes slagging off things that most people like which has made her increasingly unlistenable for me
This is a terrific podcast! Love listening to Jessica and her guests!
Entertaining
I enjoy Jess’s analysis and commentary on K-dramas— I usually tend to agree with her perspective or, if I disagree, I at least perceive where she is coming from. I feel like she is very thoughtful, considerate, and fun, loving when it comes to this podcast. it’s one of the main drama podcasts I regularly listen to.
