  • Painful to listen

Meandering on same topics but discussed better and sharper elsewhere. Don’t waste your time here.

  • Just real

Such a calm reasonable and thoughtful podcast. Great conversations and balanced points of view. It’s ok to agree to disagree and have a decent human chat about it. Also helpful and educational in regards to the more destructive ideologies and their effects on politics, culture and personal relationships. Good stuff!

  • Content: Phenomenal; Tech: Could Use Some Work

I love this podcast, which is why it is so frustrating that I can’t hear it. I listen to most of my podcasts at a medium volume on very high-quality headphones (Trekz AfterShokz). I can barely hear this podcast on the road at maximum volume. The quality of the sound (when I can hear it) is great, but I usually can’t hear it. This only occurs when I listen to this podcast; I have no problems with any others. I would love it if the volume could be augmented. Thanks so much. I am a new listener, bu... more

John Stossel: I Exposed Mainstream Media Fear-Mongering From the Inside
Q: What sparked your initial interest in journalism and consumer reporting?
Stossel explains that he didn't initially intend to be a journalist; stuttering and practical considerations led him to consumer reporting, where he could focus on government and consumer problems and gradually shift toward libertarian ideas as his work exposed how regulation and policy affected everyday people.
Wall Street Executive Reveals How a Market Crashes
Q: What reform path does he advocate for unwinding the crisis-era state?
An incremental, patient unwinding of expansive government policies coupled with a durable moral foundation, rather than sudden, radical shifts.
Wall Street Executive Reveals How a Market Crashes
Q: How does he describe the roles of government and Wall Street in the crisis?
He emphasizes a multi-causal story with government policy (like Fannie/Freddie, monetary policy) and Wall Street practices, but also stresses personal and cultural responsibility as part of the breakdown.
Wall Street Executive Reveals How a Market Crashes
Q: What does he think broke the world beyond a simple market failure?
He argues the crisis revealed a moral and cultural fracture in the relationship between society and markets, highlighting Main Street responsibility and the limits of technocratic fixes.
$8 Gas. Oil Cut Off. Has Trump’s Iran Gamble Backfired?
Q: What is the potential impact of suspending the Jones Act on energy movements?
It could enable more flexible movement of LNG and other energy resources, potentially easing short-term supply constraints but also highlighting how domestic policy choices constrain or enable energy logistics within the U.S.
