《打金枝》唐代宗将女儿君蕊公主许配汾阳王郭子仪六子郭暧为妻。时值汾阳王与夫人七十双寿，子、婿纷纷前往拜寿，惟独君蕊公主不往，引起议论，郭暧怒而回宫，打了公主。公主哭诉父母，逼求唐皇治罪郭暧，郭子仪绑子上殿请罪，唐皇明事理、顾大局，并加封郭暧。皇后劝婿责女，小夫妻消除前隙，和好如初。
