幾個月前，臉書粉專《德州媽媽沒有崩潰》版主被爆出涉嫌抄襲他人畫作的風波，版主雖然澄清，她掛在家裡的畫作，是臨摹前人的作品，並非抄襲，但多數網友及粉絲仍不買單。在藝術界，抄襲，或者說是仿作、偽作，是一件很嚴重的事情。就算是極有天份的藝術家，如果被抓到涉嫌抄襲前人的作品，或幹起偽造前人名畫的事情，這個畫家的人生，等於宣告死亡。

前不久在書訊中看到，我很喜歡的一位作家何偉即將推出新書，於是趕忙預訂。10月初，他的新書《別江》到手，我很開心，花了幾天的時間把這本作品讀完。
何偉是誰？具有中國姓名的他，其實是個老外。他本名彼得．海斯勒（Peter Hessler），1969年出生，在美國密蘇里州長大，也在普林斯頓大學、英國牛津大學分別取得學士、碩士學位。1996至1998年，他到中國大陸重慶附近的涪陵教書，2000至2007年擔任《紐約客》駐北京記者，也同時是《國家地理雜誌》、《華爾街日報》、《紐約時報》的長期撰稿人。2... more
初次看到《那些少女沒有抵達》的書名時，我心裡一沉。看到書名，我直覺猜想到這書裡寫的，應該是少女結束自己生命的故事。作者吳曉樂是我很喜歡的一位作家，她的《你的孩子不是你的孩子》談的就是親子間的關係。我猜想這本書應該也會大量觸及這方面的議題，也確信她的文筆在經過多年磨練後會變得更鋒利，但我很害怕閱讀這麼沉重的小說。

熟悉歐威爾小說的讀者們，大多數都應該和我一樣，對於他的妻子艾琳完全陌生。直到最近，我看到這本《喬治．歐威爾之妻的隱形人生》（Mrs. Orwell’s Invisible Life Wifedom），才終於認識到這位偉大作家背後的強大助力。作者安娜．方德（Anna Funder） 用了很大的精神，以掘地三尺的毅力，把塵封在歷史裡的艾琳挖掘出來，還其面貌，並賦予她血肉，讓我們明白，這一位曾經受過太多委屈、太多不平的女性，也應該在歷史上佔有一席之地。
