  • Entertaining show but…

I enjoy listening and the show is entertaining. D-Lo and KC have great chemistry and I like the focus on the Kings, 49ers, and other northern california sports. The only drawback is D-Lo constant bashing of anyone who is a Republican or leans more right politically. Plus, he always makes everything racial. I get it.. you’re a liberal. It’s a sports show. Keep those options to yourself.

A show that hits at all angles, has something for everyone, and hands down the best contribution from local talent that radio can offer. Get into the chatty house, grab a drink and stay a while. -Delivery Joe

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

5/13 Hour 2 - Could the Kings Trade Up?
Q: Is there any realistic path for the Kings to trade up to acquire a star like Morant without derailing the timeline?
The discussion acknowledges the risk and suggests that while a Morant-level upgrade could accelerate a championship window, it would require careful asset management, potential sacrifices in future picks, and a clear plan to fit Morant into the salary structure and team culture.
"It's Garbage But I Love It"
Q: What happens if Embiid is out for multiple games in a playoff series?
The hosts speculate on lineup adjustments, the risks of relying on a single star, and how teams may compensate with secondary scorers and revised defensive schemes.
The James Ham Show (4-29-26)
Q: What was your impression of the new anti-tanking rules when you first saw them?
I was confused at first, but I see reform as necessary; the league needs stronger governance and penalties to protect competitive fairness.
"We're Just Mapping Out Our Trip To Las Vegas"
Q: What was Doug Christie's main message about the team's talent, and why did it resonate with you?
Christie emphasized that talent alone isn't enough; it must fit the team and players must sacrifice for the group, a point that resonates because it explains why highly talented rosters still underperform without shared commitment and cohesion.
4/16 Hour 1 - Devin Carter's Spot On the Kings
Q: What did you think about that particular line from Doug Christie during the exit interviews?
The line was seen as a critique of the veteran group's unselfish play and a reminder that talent alone isn't enough without clear roles and team cohesion, which Jake and Damien discuss as a symptom of deeper roster and identity issues.
