  • Entertaining show but…

I enjoy listening and the show is entertaining. D-Lo and KC have great chemistry and I like the focus on the Kings, 49ers, and other northern california sports. The only drawback is D-Lo constant bashing of anyone who is a Republican or leans more right politically. Plus, he always makes everything racial. I get it.. you’re a liberal. It’s a sports show. Keep those options to yourself.

A show that hits at all angles, has something for everyone, and hands down the best contribution from local talent that radio can offer. Get into the chatty house, grab a drink and stay a while. -Delivery Joe

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Jake Gadon Interview (7-16-26)
Q: What is the current outlook for the Kings' second-year players and their roles next season?
The consensus is that several second-year players still need to prove they can translate Summer League performance into regular-season production, requiring a clearer role, better chemistry, and a more defined supporting cast around Acuff and Keegan—while some players like Max and Neek Clifford are seen as the closest to sustaining NBA-level impact, they must show consistency and leadership.
Connor Sutton Interview (6-22-26)
Q: When the World Cup ends, how do we keep this excitement about these players, this team, this sport going?
There will be a stadium coming online, transfer rumors and opportunities for US players to move to top leagues, and ongoing watch parties and events that keep fans engaged after the tournament.
6/24 Hour 1 - Kings Selected Darius Acuff Jr
Q: James Ham, what stood out to you about Scott Perry's remarks after the first round and the Nets' near-pick for Acuff?
Ham suggests Perry was calm, strategic, and confident throughout the process, turning potential nervous moments into a controlled plan that culminated in acquiring Acuff at seven, with a broader narrative of building a sustainable, fan-friendly franchise.
6/22 Hour 2 - No Market For Zach LaVine?
Q: What is the likelihood of Zach LaVine finding a market that justifies trading for him or signing him to a new deal?
The discussion suggests a very selective market with potentially limited demand, making the possibility of a favorable sign-and-trade or move contingent on a perfect alignment of teams, salaries, and willingness to rearrange rosters. Detroit emerges as a plausible destination in this analysis.
6/24 Hour 4 - Darius Acuff Jr's Ceiling
Q: Coach, you've had plenty of great guards making it into the NBA and have successful careers. How do you think Darius is going to play out?
Coach Calipari predicts a strong NBA career for Acuff, suggesting he could be an 18-and-8 player or even a 20-and-10 player, with improved defense and a need to be coached to avoid becoming a primary defensive target, while still having the ability to score and run a team.
