  • Entertaining show but…

I enjoy listening and the show is entertaining. D-Lo and KC have great chemistry and I like the focus on the Kings, 49ers, and other northern california sports. The only drawback is D-Lo constant bashing of anyone who is a Republican or leans more right politically. Plus, he always makes everything racial. I get it.. you’re a liberal. It’s a sports show. Keep those options to yourself.

  • Best Sports Show in Sacramento

A show that hits at all angles, has something for everyone, and hands down the best contribution from local talent that radio can offer. Get into the chatty house, grab a drink and stay a while. -Delivery Joe

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

"It'll Be Nice For Someone Else To Cry On This Show"
Q: What should the Kings do next at the backup point guard position?
The panel suggested a group of non-guaranteed camp invites, with potential interest in players like Oladipo or Ben Simmons, and a broader look at veterans who could push for a roster spot.
Anthony Slater Interview (8-13-26)
Q: How did covering Westbrook early in his career shape your approach as a journalist?
Covering Westbrook taught me to ask sharp, disciplined questions and to stay on his toes in high-pressure moments, because you're often the only reporter in the room who can push back on a tough play or mistake.
8/11 Hour 4 - Key To the Kings Offense
Q: What would you do at the backup point guard position?
Unless you can go for a flyer for a young player, the move is to pursue a cheap, high-upside option rather than forcing a veteran who may not fit the timeline or role; the goal is to find someone who can grow with the core and allow Sabonis and Acuff to drive the offense.
8/10 Hour 2 - Raiders "Fighting" At Practice
Q: What is the dominant strategic theme for the Kings this season in terms of development vs. winning?
The consensus is that they need to find a balance, developing young players like Acuff and Murray while not sacrificing competitiveness, using veteran leadership and a more deliberate rotation to smooth the transition.
Q Myers Interview (8-10-26)
Q: How is the quarterback depth chart shaping up behind Kirk Cousins, and who might step in if needed?
Fernando Mendoza has moved up from the threes to the twos and could become the immediate next option if Cousins were unavailable, with Aiden O'Connell as a viable second choice; the expectation is that Mendoza could start the season as a three with potential to move up as camp progresses.
