Hacking. Hackers. Disinformation campaigns. Encryption. The Cyber. This stuff gets complicated really fast, but Motherboard spends its time embedded in the infosec world so you don't have to. Host Matthew Gault talks every week to Motherboard reporters about the stories they're breaking and to the industry's most famous hackers and researchers about the biggest news in cybersecurity.

This was a gem of a show - I looked forward to new episodes weekly. Highly recommend listening to the back catalogue of episodes. If you can find their final episodes online (The End of Vice), it’s more than worth the listen. It’s a tell all from the reporter perspective with many of the team sharing insights regarding why Vice failed. Very best of luck to the host and all the cohosts.
This was a great podcast, it is worth going through the back catalogue. LOOK UP the final episode, February 23, The End of Vice. One of the greatest listens I have had in a while. Heart breaking, entertaining - quite a tale from the inside of a media platform.
It was a wild and bumpy ride at top speed, just the way I like it!!!
This used to be one of my favorite “nerdy” / tech podcasts but the current host sounds like he’s completely checked out. Extremely low energy and lack of interest. The more recent guests will ramble forever with no interjection from the host until I just tune out. Production quality has gone down as well since the new host.
The Napoleon talk was really off-putting and stupid. It's like a nerd clique trying to show how unique they are by seeing things differently. But it just comes across as irksome and ignorant. Probably should stick to talking about things you have a grounding in.
