The students presenting these chapters need a primer in how to read. I hope they don’t present patients on rounds like how they read these chapters. They are just straight reading fully from the text, including reading things like “e.g.” The text itself is hit or miss, with certain pathophys missing or oversimplifications. Tried to listen to this on my commute but almost crashed trying to turn it off because I couldn’t take it any longer.
The ads are more well-written than the podcast itself. Crush Step 1 is a good book that help me understand many confusing chapter/context. However, this podcast feel like a waste of time. I would love for them to make a full-pledge audible book that have the investment similar to the paperbook. Sadly, not this podcast
Let me start by saying that this podcast is super helpful for passively listening and learning in some random subjects. ButIt is totally dependent on who is narrating the chapter. Okay summary of HY topics, but very surface level, and riddled with wrong information (e.g. mentioned Ulnar Tunnel Syndrome but spoke about the radial never; Addon's test was described incorrectly and also no longer used for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, etc.)
Is the perfect way of passive study and can be used everywhere. You can workout on the gym or going out for a walk and preparing yourself for the step 1 at the same time. Hopefully you can keep doing more of these episodes for every topic
