I watched Angel Studios' new Alejandro Monteverde film, Cabrini. It's the story of a world famous nun who comes up against every possible obstacle at every possible step of opening up her charitable orphanages and hospitals. You're gonna love it.

In which I try to review Matthew Vaughn's latest film Argylle in between fits of laughter from thinking about the action sequences. It happens to the best of us, and by the best of us, I mean Sam Rockwell.

I checked out Kenneth Branagh's latest EVENT AT LOCATION movie, A Haunting in Venice. If you know me and my dedicated-to-whodunit reading self, you probably already know how I feel about it, but take a listen anyway.

I checked out the third installment of the My Big Fat Greek Wedding franchise, which is genuinely not a sentence I thought I'd write. Is this movie necessary? No. Will you leave the theater craving spanakopita? Yes!

Good basic review of The Pale Blue Eye, but commenting that Poe was associated with New England his whole life bc you didn’t understand the actor’s accent choice really suggests a need to do some quick research. Though born in Boston, his parents were traveling actors, so Poe is associated primarily with Virginia, where he grew up from age two, and Baltimore, where he died. The actor is using a Virginian accent, which is appropriate here.
I did like the thought you have put into your reviews. Your pace works well. Your thoughts are provoking. Would be interested in you having a guest and seeing how much better your podcast Dan be with someone also asking you questions-leading. I think it could open up more commentary.
Courtney seems very honest, yet kind in her opinions.
