  • Very Nashville, but fun.

Disingenuous podcast that only talks about music from the corporate Nashville machine. If you want a broad, unbiased view of country music that talks about the indie scene as well, this isn’t for you. Says it promotes diversity but doesn’t talk about the gross misogyny, racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia that controls this industry because they’re a part of it.

Luke Combs Thanks His Fans
Q: What's the biggest lesson you've learned about singles versus overall album flow in this era of streaming?
The singles that become hits aren't always the ones you expect; the fans ultimately decide which songs become the standout tracks, which is why I focus on the album's cohesion and the long-term listening experience.
Luke Combs Thanks His Fans
Q: How did you decide to include outside cuts or songs you didn't write on this album, and how did that feel?
I felt it was odd to cut songs I didn't write for the first time, but the right collaboration can still fit the project; the process was about fitting songs into the album's overarching theme rather than sticking strictly to authoring every track.
Luke Combs Thanks His Fans
Q: Okay, first things first, you sat in this chair in April of 2022. What did I say to you about Growing Up and Getting Old, and was that your plan?
The idea to double the project with Growing Up and Getting Old was a strategic concept; it was already in motion and the decision to split into two parts allowed me to explore distinct themes without forcing everything into one album.
Braxton Keith in Australia, Glen Powell at the Opry
Q: How did your path from ag business to music begin, and what was your first breakout show like?
He explains a shift sparked by a roommate encouraging him to record a song, the nervous first Midland show, and the personal feeling of discovering a new calling through live performance.
Braxton Keith in Australia, Glen Powell at the Opry
Q: What was it like getting the news you'd be performing at a major festival in Australia?
Braxton describes initial excitement mixed with humorous nerves about spiders and adjusting to a new country, highlighting how the experience is both a career milestone and a cultural adventure.
