The premise is really interesting but why is the main character yelling "fu**!" when she sees anyone new or walks into a place she's never seen before? It's like she's startled all the time. And she's always out of breath? I don't like the main character shes annoying and I just couldn't listen to her anymore.
The characters and their dialog felt clunky and got worse as the series progressed. The monster reveal was disappointing. The conclusion felt rushed. And the epilogue was lame and made no sense for the characters.
I really liked the slow, terrifying progression of the horror and mystery. But it was a real let down by the end. And this treatment for one of my favorite mythical monsters.
I loved the two seasons of Bridgewater, Aaron Mahnke is a transplant, but he’s definitely become a New Englander knowing our ledge ss and using those as the basis for these two shows. Love doing my work and having this play in my ears for a half hour or so. My grandparents talked to me about old radio shows and I believe they would love these.
