  • Great host, interested to get the most for listeners

I was a guest on Ian’s show and my episode with him got published end of October 2025, and it was about the science of ethical persuasion. Ian was easy to work with and asked questions that helped me to provide plenty of insights his audience could use immediately. Ian is clearly focused on getting his audience value for their time, and I trust we delivered that very well in episode 251!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep254: Russell Cullingworth Pro-2-Pro
Q: How can someone get started with this approach right away?
Start by listening to audio storytelling and identifying four main characters in a narrative, then describe those characters to train your brain to imagine; gradually incorporate short audio books and samples from Learn to Imagine as a framework.
Ep254: Russell Cullingworth Pro-2-Pro
Q: Where do you see imagination-based learning fitting best in professional education?
It's highly effective for non-technical skills like leadership, ethics, sales, empathy, and client acquisition, where engagement and cognitive immersion drive long-term retention and behavior change.
Ep254: Russell Cullingworth Pro-2-Pro
Q: What was the tipping point for you to write Learn to Imagine and adopt imagination-based learning?
The shift came from frustration with traditional online courses in 2016, realizing that audio-based storytelling could engage learners more deeply, so I began designing courses around narration, scenarios, and interviews rather than lectures.
Ep253: Ingrid Maynard Pro-2-Pro
Q: What is one practical strategy or framework listeners can implement tomorrow to move from order-taking to value creation?
Start by recalibrating conversations to go beyond what the customer needs on the surface and ask what would deliver real value today, then provide tools to articulate and measure that commercial impact, including a framework that distinguishes financial, functional, and emotional value.
Ep278: Carly Rachelle Pro-2-Pro
Q: How does the concept of authority differ from being an expert, and why does it matter?
An expert knows something; an authority is known for something and trusted because of consistent presence and perceived certainty, which makes opportunities come to you rather than you chasing them.
